Year Certified Equine Manual Osteopathic Therapy Program
Equine Manual Osteopathic Therapy program is offered as a 2 year certification course with the first intake September 2020 at the Barrhead, Alberta Campus.
Osteopathy was founded on a thorough understanding of the relationship between structure and function; it is based entirely on an exceptional knowledge of anatomy and physiology rather than on the memorization of techniques.

Certified Farrier Series
Our Okanagan campus in Vernon, BC (formerly the B.C. College of Equine Therapy) is home to the Certified Farrier Series with Instructor & Certified AFA Farrier Scott Livingstone.
Over the last year, NTTI established a partnership with Scott Livingstone to bring a new Certified Farrier Series to the Okanagan. 20 individual courses will be offered in a building block style to aid students in progressing through the steps required to complete the Journeyman Farrier Examination process. As with the other NTTI programs, these courses are offered in the unique style of part time studies in which the students attend class 2 days a month with additional practical skills to be further developed on their own time between each course. This allows students to maintain their current careers while attending classes as well as eliminating the need to relocate. These courses are designed to give knowledge in biomechanics of the equine hoof, conformation as well as balanced trimming and shoeing. These dynamic interactive programs will also include forging skills as well as the necessary knowledge to build a successful shoeing career.
